HuGR Wallet - Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 4, 2026

Last Updated: April 4, 2026

Service Provider: HumanGR Labs

Website: humangr.com

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using HuGR Wallet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

HumanGR Labs ("we", "us", "our") reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on humangr.com with at least 30 days' notice before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

HuGR Wallet is a credential management and digital wallet application that enables users to securely store, organize, and autofill credentials, payment information, and other sensitive data.

2.1 Security Architecture

HuGR Wallet uses a security-first architecture with multiple encryption layers. Your master password is hashed client-side before transmission. We store only a double-hash of your password on our servers. We cannot access or recover your master password. Shield credentials (saved passwords, payment cards) are encrypted client-side — we cannot decrypt them. API secrets stored via Keys are encrypted server-side with per-user AES-256-GCM keys. Email bodies are stored with Cloudflare's infrastructure encryption.

2.2 Password Responsibility

Because of our security architecture, you are solely responsible for remembering your master password. If you lose your password and have not configured an email address for recovery, your data cannot be recovered by anyone, including HumanGR Labs. We strongly recommend setting up an email address for account recovery purposes.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Service Tiers

4.1 Free Tier

The Free tier provides basic credential management functionality with limited features. The Free tier is provided without any Service Level Agreement (SLA) and may be subject to usage limitations including but not limited to storage capacity, number of credentials, and feature availability.

4.2 Paid Tiers

Paid tiers ("Budget", "Pro", and any future tiers) provide enhanced functionality and increased limits. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annual).

4.3 Free Trial

The Budget tier includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable rate.

4.4 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing for paid tiers. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect on their account.

5. Payment and Billing

6. Cancellation and Refunds

6.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

6.2 Data Retention After Cancellation

After downgrade to the Free tier, data exceeding Free tier limits will be retained for 30 days. After 30 days, excess data will be permanently purged. Data within Free tier limits will remain accessible.

6.3 Account Deletion

If you delete your account entirely, all associated data will be permanently purged within 30 days of the deletion request.

6.4 Refunds

Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] for refund inquiries.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

1. Store, transmit, or facilitate any illegal content or activity

2. Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

3. Abuse, circumvent, or attempt to circumvent API rate limits or usage restrictions

4. Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

5. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems

6. Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

7. Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except as permitted by law

8. Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written authorization

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and documentation, is the exclusive property of HumanGR Labs. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, branding, or intellectual property beyond normal use of the Service.

Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over content you store within the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

HumanGR Labs does not warrant that:

The Free tier is provided with no guarantee of availability or uptime.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HUMANGR LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL HUMANGR LABS' TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Because the Service hashes passwords client-side and cannot recover the original password, HumanGR Labs cannot be held liable for data loss resulting from a forgotten master password where no recovery method (email) was configured.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HumanGR Labs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Data Protection and Privacy

12.3 Data Export and Deletion

For further details, see our Privacy Policy.

13. Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice.

13.2 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

Upon termination for cause, you may request a data export within 30 days.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services for specific functionality. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms:

HumanGR Labs is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve any dispute informally for at least 30 days.

15.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.3 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Brazil.

16. General Provisions

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HumanGR Labs regarding the Service.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
